McDANIEL, Zelma Lawrence, age 79, a resident of Prattville, AL went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Thursday, March 13, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Floyd B. McDaniel; parents, Felton and Susie Lawrence; brothers, Bill Lawrence, Hilbert Lawrence and Tommy Lawrence.
Survivors include two
sons, Randy (Bonnie) McDaniel and Gene (Melanie) McDaniel; three grandchildren, Ashley McDaniel, Kaitlyn McDaniel
and Ryan McDaniel; one great-grandchild, Jace Barata; one brother, Jerry Lawrence; one sister, Johnnie “Corene” Colvin and numerous other relatives.
Mrs. McDaniel was a long standing member of New Vision Baptist Church of Prattville. Visitation will be Saturday, March 15, 2014 from Ridout’s Prattville Chapel from 12:00 PM until 2:00PM. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 PM from Ridout’s Chapel with Rev. J. B. Burt and Rev. Steve Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted but memorial contributions can be given to one’s favorite charity in Mrs. McDaniel’s memory.
