He married Beatrice and they moved to Prince George where work beckoned. Adam was an equipment driver in the forestry industry and then later on took a similar job for YRB where he build many roads. Even while he worked, he found time to build a house and spend time with is kids, Peggy, Della, and Cecil, and in later years his grandchildren Marya, Robin, Mitchell, and Kyla along with great-grandchildren Breanna and Zander. He loved spending time with those that he loved most.
In retirement he found himself creating often, usually using wood. He made clocks and vases and was also handy at fixing things. Gardening was a huge part of Adam’s life. He loved to grow things that could be eaten, and he loved to grow things that he could admire the beauty of.
He travelled often throughout his life, visiting his family (and Beatrice’s family) in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and BC.
He will be missed by many people…his family and friends, especially those that he would go for coffee with at McDonalds regularly. Adam was always willing to have a conversation with anyone, and we will all miss those conversations that we were able to have.
