Anita Escobar Pastoral

Born on July 20, 1935. Anita lived a long, meaningful life defined by her kindness and devotion to family. She spent many happy years tending to her garden, enjoyed shopping trips with those she loved, and was a well-known avid pet lover who held a deep affection for animals. Anita was a deeply loving Auntie who poured her heart into raising her two adopted children, Maria Pastoral and Albert Pastoral. Later in life, she immensely enjoyed and fiercely loved her 5 grandchildren. She was also a central figure in her extended family, sharing a bond with her many nieces and nephews.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents Procopio and Benedicta Pastoral, her siblings Concha and Rafael Pastoral.

She is survived by her adopted children Maria Pastoral and Albert Pastoral; grandchildren Tyrese Nguyen, Jayden Nguyen, Chloe Pastoral, Bayani Pastoral and Celina Pastoral; and her nieces and nephews Gilbert, Emmanuel, Elizabeth, Dolores, Theresa, Maritoni, Antonio, and Lea Grace.

Service Arrangements:

Viewing: To be held Monday October 5, 2026 from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, at Assman’s Funeral Chapel 1908 Queensway Street Prince George, BC

Final Viewing: To be held Tuesday October 6, 2026 from 9:00am to 9:30am at Sacred Heart Cathedral 887 Patricia Boulevard Prince George, BC for those unable to attend the viewing the night before.

Funeral Mass: To be held Tuesday October 6, 2026 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Sacred Heart Cathedral 887 Patricia Boulevard Prince George, BC.
