Blaine was a kind and gentle man who made friends wherever he went. He was well known and loved in Kelly Lake, Dawson Creek, Grande Prairie and Moberly Lake. He had a way of getting along with everyone and was someone who rarely showed anger. His calm and friendly nature left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
He shared a close and special bond with his mother, Kathleen Letendre. They lived together, cared for one another, and truly enjoyed each other’s company. Blaine also had a deep love for his dog, Baby. She was more than a pet to him. She was his child and loyal companion since she was a puppy.
Blaine was a good-hearted person who made many friendships throughout his life. Kelly Lake is where he made lasting friendships, and in his later life in Moberly his best friend was Clay Paquette.
Blaine leaves behind his loving mother, Kathleen; his sisters, Winona (Kevin) and Tina (Einar); his nieces, Nikita, Kyla, and Leneya; and his nephews, Wyatt and Keaton. He was predeceased by his father, Edward.
We will all miss Blaine deeply and carry his memory in our hearts. His kindness and quiet strength will never be forgotten.
Rest easy, Blaine.
Funeral services are to be held at 1:00 pm on June 8, 2026, at the Kelly Lake Community Centre.
