Daljinder Kaur Gill

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of an extraordinary woman, Daljinder Kaur Gill. Daljinder passed away July 10, 2025 in her home with family by her side. Predeceased by her husband, Mukhtiar, she is survived by her four children. Her two sons, Gurmeet and Jagjit, and two daughters Kuldip and Baljit. Daljinder had 10 grandchildren, which all carry lifelong memories of their beloved Bibi.

Daljinder was born in Matwani, Punjab, India on April 9, 1950. She married Mukhtiar and as her children settled into Canada, the two immigrated to Canada in February, 2000 and settled in Prince George BC.

Daljinder spent countless hours taking care of her grandchildren and supporting her children at the same time. Her and Mukhtiar would go to the lower mainland during the summers and work in berry farm’s once the grandchildren got older.

Daljinder loved to see everyone happy and her compassion and love for family was

always outstanding. She took pride in having all her family close by and spent endless hours cooking for everyone.

The entire family would like to extends its sincere gratitude and appreciation for the care and comfort provided to Daljinder. From nurses, care-aids, occupational therapy, doctors and admin staff. Everyone supported the entire family, but most importantly Daljinder during this difficult time.
