DAVID THOMPSON March 5, 1932 April 23, 2012 Passed away peacefully after a courageous fight with cancer. He was surrounded by his family and friends, including his loyal companion "Suzie". He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Anne, sons Jack (Dori), Todd (Sarah) and Cory (Janine), daughters Laurie (Dennis) and Judy, grandchildren Jeramy, Ainsley, Bailey, Ryan, Colby, Brady, Bryan, Keagan and Nigel, great grandchildren Tavian, Trayton and Decklynn. Predeceased by his parents Alex and Mae Thompson, brothers Bill, Bud and Walter, baby sister Jean and granddaughter Kelsey. He was happiest during his many "adventures" involving quadding, camping, fishing, snowmobiling and sitting with family and friends around a "Thompson" campfire. A man of many talents, he always lent a hand to anyone needing something fixed. He will be remembered for his "gift of gab", everyone was a friend he hadn't met yet. He will be missed greatly and remain forever in our hearts. The family will be having a tea to celebrate "Dave's good times" on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Sintich RV park (the hall) starting at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice House would be appreciated. The family would like to thank those involved with Dave's care, with special thanks to Hospice staff Harriett, Renee, Sarah, Cynthia and others too numerous to mention. " Enjoy your fishing Grandpa, till we meet again".
