Diane Rempel

June 18, 1949 - August 25, 2026 at 77 years old. Diane passed away in Prince George of respiratory issues.

Diane was the eldest born of Joseph and Noella Robinson of St Paul, Alberta, afterwards the family moved to Camrose, Alberta and then on to Prince George in the summer of 1966. After graduation, Diane moved to Victoria, BC where she did more schooling and worked as a waitress. Diane again moved back to Prince George where she met her soulmate and best friend, John Rempel and they married April 10th, 1971. Diane and John moved to Edmonton the following year and then on to Calgary where they had several residences in and around the Calgary area. John passed away in May of 2017 and Diane stayed for a few years in High River, Alberta on her own until returning to Prince George to be closer to her family.

Diane loved reading and always had a book on the go and both her and John took great pride in their yards and always had beautiful flower beds on their property. Diane could be heard singing a song or dancing around while doing housework. Both John and Diane also loved camping with family and friends and often took nephews and nieces along with them to enjoy the outdoors. She made her career in banking, moving through the ranks from Teller to Estate Management. Diane will be remembered for her smile and contagious laughter.

Diane is predeceased by her husband John Rempel, her father, Joseph Robinson and two brothers Richard and Alcide Robinson, as well as two sisters in law, Debbie Robinson and Joy Robinson. She is survived by her Mother, Noella Stevenson, brothers Eric (Joy) Robinson, Zoel (Wanda) Robinson, her sister Donna (Debbie) Robinson and her step-son Doug Rempel. There's also Aunts & Uncles, Nieces and Nephews on both sides of her family and over 90 first cousins who will remember and miss her dearly and many friends who enjoyed her company.
