Doris was born 1936 in Kenya and spent the early years of her life there. After she met her future husband Edwin, they were married and were soon blessed with four kids. Their oldest was Debra who past away as a baby. Then came Sandra, Peter, and Alan.
Doris lived in Kilembe mines in Uganda until 1972, when she and her family had to move because of political unrest. The family ended up in Prince George BC.
After working for a few families, Doris went back to school and got her Early Childhood Education degree. She would work at Selody Daycare her whole career.
After retirement, Doris spent her time volunteering. She made new friends wherever she went. She touched so many lives with her kindness and humility and she will be sadly missed by family and friends.
We miss you so much mom
Love you forever!
