Eleanor Rose Reimneitz

On Wednesday evening April 5, 2023, a limb fell from our family tree. El passed away in Prince George at the Rotary Hospice House with her loving daughter’s family by her side.

She was born September 24, 1939, in Essex County Ontario, a daughter of the late William and Grace Hutton.

Eleanor was predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years (2016), Andrew “Andy” Reimneitz (Joseph Andre). Andy always remained number one in her heart, her soul and in her life.

Survived by son, Randall (Roxanne) and her daughter, Patricia Bolen (Blaine.) 6 Grandchildren, and 9 Great Grandchildren.

Predeceased by son, Ricky (2012), Grandchildren Mikel John Stock Reimneitz (1980) and Blaine Dustyn Bolen (2008). Parents, William & Grace Hutton. Brothers, William and Terris. Sisters, Ethel, Betty and Alice. Many loving family members of the Reimneitz family.

El was a loving wife, Mom, and friend. She will be forever remembered by our loving children as: Grandma, Grams, Nana, Yammie, and GiGi. She was a very proud Grandma with great Grandma Status - it was the most important role in her life. Anyone that knew her grandchildren knew that she was loved unconditionally and that was all that ever really mattered to her. The children will always be the keepers of her heart for eternity.

Our family will be forever grateful for the wonderful care and support we had from Dr. Denise McLeod and the wonderful nurses at the Rotary Hospice House who made sure her last days were as comfortable as possible. Thank you for taking such good care of her and our family during this difficult time.

To our extended families, friends, neighbors and co workers we thank you for your kind comforting words and prayers.

She would want us to remember the best times, the laughter, and the song. The good life she lived while she was strong.

As requested, there will be no service. Cremation April 19, 2023. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Rotary Hospice House would be appreciated.
