Elfida Astorino

Elfida was born on April 21, 1936 in Rogliano, Italy, where she grew up alongside her five siblings - Alphonso, Francesco, Francessca, Domenica, and Enrico. Family was so important to her throughout her life, being the foundation of all that she did.

Elfida learned the art of craftsmanship in her younger years and carried that throughout her life, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and weaving. She was also a master cook who could make everything by hand. And she loved to garden, always growing an abundance of produce that would last the upcoming winter season.

Elfida was extremely hardworking, never complaining, and always getting done what needed to be accomplished.

She is survived by her daughters Norma (Tony) Olausen and Lilliana (Dan); son Edward (Patty); grandchildren Anthony Olausen, Justin, Michael (Nicole) Stubley, Chase, Falen and Blake Astorino; great-grandchild to come Baby Girl Charly Stubley; brother Enrico Vizza; sisters-in-law Algidia Astorino and Esterina Astorino; brother-in-law Raimondo Astorino; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family & friends.

She is predeceased by her husband Emilio Astorino; parents Enrico Vizza and Fiorni Minardi; siblings Alfonzo Vizza, Francessca Garofalo, Francesco Vizza and Domenica Gencarelli; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and other family members.
