Alice will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ron, children, Jeff (Deanna) , Shelley (Corry), and Travis; grandchildren, Krista (Jamie) Joe, Levi (Amy), Mitchell (Brittany), Chase (Ally), Morgan (Brad), Shauna (Rik), Aaron (Alex); great grandchildren, Michael, Brinley, Sutter, Nevaya, Avan, Aria and Wesley, as well as numerous extended family members in Alberta and Sweden.
Alice was predeceased by her parents, Nels and Ann Holst, brother Nelson Holst.
Alice was full of life and spoke fondly of growing up on the farm, where everyone helped one another. She took great pride in caring for her family and was known for her wonderful cooking, especially the many hours she spent preparing Christmas treats. Alice created a warm and welcoming home and was truly the heart of our family. She will be dearly missed.
Anyone that knew her, loved her, even when she called you a potlicker.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society and the dedicated palliative care team for their kindness and support shown to Alice. We are deeply grateful to the Doctors and Nurses for their unwavering compassion, dignity and care provided to Alice at Prince George University Hospital.
