Germaine "Cheala" Gladys Rachel Cotterhill (Gauthier) Germaine was born in McLennan, Alberta February 1, 1941. On November 17, 2011, with her family close by her side, Germaine left this life peacefully to join her beloved husband Andre (Andy) Cotterhill. Germaine fought a courageous battle with cancer. Throughout her battle, she showed amazing strength and love. Her beautiful smile was a reflection of her inner strength. Germaine is survived by her loving children - Wendy (Brent) Devaux, Michael (Amber) Cotterhill and Brian Cotterhill. Grandchildren Branden Devaux, Andre Devaux, Chad Devaux, Aleisha Devaux, Cameron Cotterhill and Austin Cotterhill. Great granddaughter Akasha. She is also survived by sisters Pauline (Mike), Viola (Ernest), Audrey (Donald), Alice, Tina (Carlyle) and brother Leonard and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A viewing will be held at Assman's Funeral Chapel Tuesday, November 22 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm with Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00am Wednesday, November 23, 2011.
