I am deeply saddened to hear about Gloria’s passing. She was truly one of a kind. Even on my busiest shifts—and even when I was assigned to a completely different floor—I found myself finding excuses to pop in just to hear her latest joke or catch a bit of her wonderful sass. She had a way of making my work day feel less like 'work' and more like a visit with a friend. She will be incredibly missed . I personally cherished our talks more than I can say. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Gloria and myself became friends instantly from the first day of  meeting each other.  My funniest memories of my dearest friend is how many times she would ask me to go through my closet for clothes. She had a closet full of clothes but each and every time of my visits she would ask why I didn’t bring her anything to wear. LOL> Our friendship was strong and meant a lot to each other. I’m so deeply sorry. Your mom was like a second mom to me, and even though it’s been years, I still remember her laugh so clearly. It always made everything feel lighter.  She had a giant personality and was always welcoming and warm.  Her spirit lives on through all of you. My thoughts are with all of you.
