Heather Marilyn Spicer

Heather passed away after a long illness on February 11th, 2025. Heather would have celebrated her 83rd birthday in June.

Heather was born in Arvida, Quebec. When she was 10 years old, her family moved to Kitimat, BC where her Father, Alex, worked for Alcan Aluminum and her Mother opened and operated a flower shop. After she married, Heather moved to Saskatchewan and then had a baby in Edmonton on her way to Whitehorse. In February 1974, she moved to Prince George and never left.

Heather was a 47 year member of the Order of Eastern Star and remained an active member until her illness last year. She was a consummate volunteer and spent much of her retired life volunteering for various community and fraternal organizations. She was very giving of her time and energy.

Heather is survived by daughter Karen and son-in-law Steve in Prince George and her brother Leigh Spicer and his wife Barb in Edmonton.
