J Francois Lavoie

He passed away peacefully with his wife by his side, on April 20th, 2026 just nine days before his 87th birthday.

He leaves behind his loving wife Germaine of 62yrs; his children Roger (Diane) and Norman (Rowena); his grandchildren Nathan (Emily), Justin (Mackenzie), Ashlee (Kyle) and Rayden (Kaylee; his great grandchildren Noah, Jackson, Wynter, Bo, plus a new baby boy due in September, as well as several brothers, a sister, many nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends.

Frank is predeceased by his father Aime Lavoie; his mother Ernestine Lagace; niece Tammy Lavoie; sister Liz Cloutier and brother Gerard Lavoie.

Frank was born in New Brunswick and at the young age of 9 years old the family picked up roots and moved to Alberta. As a young man he moved to BC and worked in the construction and forest industry. He lived in Mackenzie for nearly 50 years and, when not working, he enjoyed the great outdoors Mackenzie had to offer and loved sharing those moments of camping, boating, fishing and snowmobiling with his kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

His memory will live in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.

At the family's request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory.
