James William Rathjen

James, (JIM) was born September 11th, 1934, in Vernon BC

After raising his family and working in many different jobs throughout his career he retired and moved to enjoy his retirement in Haida Gwaii. He eventually returned to Prince George to live his final years close to Family.

Jim’s happy positive nature and big smile will be deeply missed. He will be remembered fondly by his family and friends, and for the many memories he created over the course of his 91 years.

He was predeceased by his son Trent Rathjen and leaves behind Terry Rathjen, Cindy Delgatty, Trevor Rathjen (Maggie), Charlotte Sande (Lyle), Travis Rathjen (Sandra), Crystelle Fish (Rod), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His family takes comfort in remembering the moments they shared with him and the life he built with care, patience, and dignity.

James will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private gathering will be held for his family to celebration his life.
