Laura Victoria Clark of Prince George, BC, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, at the age of 44, following a courageous battle with a rare cancer.
Laura will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her beloved husband, Rob; her son, Nathan; her father, William; her brother, Steven; her sisters, Lisa and Danielle; and her stepsister, Crystal. Her in-laws were a second family to her, and she held many other family members and dear friends close to her heart.
Laura had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome, accepted, and loved. She was selfless, compassionate, and the kind of person who would do anything for anyone. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh could light up a room.
Some of Laura’s happiest memories were made floating on the lake, camping—especially gathered around a campfire—playing cards, selling Pampered Chef, and spending time with family and friends. She was the true “road trip queen,” always ready for an adventure and whatever memories the journey might bring.
Laura was a universal mom. She opened her heart and her home to many children, welcoming them in and treating them as her own. Her love extended to her pets as well, whom she considered her children. She loved preparing dinners for her family and creating opportunities for everyone to gather around the table, share a meal, laugh, and simply enjoy being together.
Halloween was Laura’s favorite holiday, and she spent countless hours preparing for it. Her creativity, enthusiasm, and love of making things special could be seen in everything she did.
Laura’s greatest gift was the love she gave so freely. She always made room for everyone, cared deeply for the people around her, and created memories that will be cherished forever. Though her absence leaves an incredible emptiness, her love, laughter, kindness, and generous spirit will continue to live on in everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
"She filled our lives with love, our memories with laughter, and our hearts with a love that will never fade. Until we meet again, Laura, we’ll carry you with us wherever the road may lead."
