Linda was predeceased by her mother Audrey, her father Dave, her sister Louise, and her lifelong best friend Debbie. She is survived by her daughter Nansi (Sean), her son David (Shelley), her brothers Curtis and Kevin, and her grandchildren Alexa (Alex) and Cara. She also leaves behind cousins, nieces, and many friends she considered family.
When Linda loved, she loved with her whole heart — a truth felt deeply by everyone who knew her. Her family and friends alike will miss her beyond measure. She had a special affection for animals, especially cats, and those who loved her take comfort in knowing she is reunited with all the pets she cherished throughout her life.
A passionate and creative soul, Linda found joy in crafting and sewing, pouring her imagination and care into every project. She was honest to a fault, never afraid to say exactly what she thought, and her straightforward nature was one of the many things that made her unforgettable.
In her final years, Linda lived at Parkside Complex Care Home, where she was cared for with compassion and dignity. Her family is forever grateful to the staff there, as well as to the dedicated medical team associated with Dr. Mendrek, whose kindness and support meant so much. Though she will be missed profoundly, her loved ones are comforted knowing her suffering has come to an end.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held in the spring of 2027, when more of her family and friends can gather to honor her memory. Details will be shared at a later date.
