Lora May McLeod

Lora was born on May 22, 1959, in Prince George, British Columbia, to Dorothy Ann Barks and James Fleetwood Barks. She built a life rooted in family, friendship, resilience, and love.

For more than 47 years, Lora shared a devoted marriage with her beloved husband, Ian James McLeod. Together they created a life filled with tolerance, laughter, lively gatherings, enduring companionship, and deep love.

Lora was predeceased by her siblings Brenda, Dennis, and Shanna. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings Rowena, Debbie, Serena, Lisa, and David.

Lora is also survived by her children, Jeannie, Robert, and Tara, as well as their respective children, all of whom will continue to carry her memory forward with love and cherished memories. Along with her family, Lora leaves behind many extended relatives and dear friends whose lives were touched by her warmth and presence.

Her memory will be carried forward in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 29th at 2:00 in the afternoon, at Assman's Funeral Chapel, 1908 Queensway St., in Prince George, BC.
