MARGARET EMILY RICHMOND March 3, 1942 - May 21, 2011 Margaret went to be with the Lord May 21, 2011 surrounded by family at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver. She is survived by loving daughters June Cotts, Janet Cotts (Henry), sisters Susan Chretien, Ruth Major (Phil), nephew Ralph Chretien (Tracey) and nieces Robin Engensperger (Pete), Paula Major, cousin Grace McKenzie and numerous family and friends. Predeceased by her mother Felicia Beach, father William Beach, son Jim Richmond and brother-in-law Robert Chretien. Margaret's family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the ICU units at UHNBC and St. Paul's Hospital for the extraordinary compassion and kindness shown to Margaret and her family. A memorial service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church 180 S. Tabor Blvd June 1, 2011 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
