Margaret Ann Robinson was born and raised in Kenora, Ontario. In 1963, she married Edward (Ed) Robinson and together they moved to Dryden, Ontario. In 1972, Marg and Ed, along with their two children, Jeff and Karen, moved to Mackenzie, British Columbia.
Margaret worked for 22 years as a payroll clerk with BCFP/TimberWest and was a proud member of the Eta Delta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. In 2005, Marg and Ed moved to Prince George, BC, where they continued to enjoy life together.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents Elsie and Ambrose Cairns; her sisters Barbara Smith (Mike) and Joyce Kearney (Tom); and her daughter-in-law Maureen Schwindt.
She leaves behind her husband Edward; her son Jeffrey; stepson Christian of Calgary, Alberta; her daughter Karen (Paul) Potvin of Mackenzie, BC; her grandson Jacob of Mackenzie; her grandson Zachery (Megan); and her great-grandson Wade of Prince George, BC, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends that were family to her.
Margaret found joy in life’s simple pleasures, whether knitting dishcloths, crocheting cozy afghans or shopping with Karen. Above all, she loved her family immensely and cherished the time she spent with them. She will also be fondly remembered for her homemade buns, which were loved by family and friends alike.
Margaret will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
