Margaret Lillian White

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother Margaret Lillian ‘Lil’ White on March 21, 2026, at the Rainbow Lodge, Prince George, BC. Born on November 15, 1939, in Edmonton, AB. She will be sadly missed by son Bob; daughter Beverly and grandson Josh. Predeceased by husband Roy in 2006 and long-time companion Doug in 2024.

Lil worked many years in retail at the Bay and then Zellers; she loved country music and dancing. When she first met Doug, they went on many adventures dancing and enjoying the music at the Jamborees as she called them. Lil and Roy met in Vancouver where they were married then spent many years together in Prince George. They lived a short time in Aylmer, Ontario and enjoyed retirement in Berwyn, AB owning the Berwyn Liquor Store.

Heartfelt thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Rainbow Lodge and the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia.
