She was born to Willy and Amalie Teschke on Cranbrook Hill on November 3, 1938; known then as Cranbrook Mills, BC.
Margaret is predeceased by her husband Imant; son Daniel; brother Elmer Teschke. She is survived by her daughters Joanne (Arthur) Buse and Angela Willmann; daughter-in-law Brenda Willmann; grandchildren Joshua (Ryann) Buse and their child Anders, Stephen (Kristen) Buse and their children Jayden and Zoe, Nicolas (Laura) Buse and their children Ava and Nolan, Matthew (Kassandra) Buse and their children Silas and Isak, Alyse Willmann and Cole Willmann; sister Ruth (Heinz) Kwiatkowski; step brother Mike (Marian) Krafczyk and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Margaret loved the farm, cutting the hay crop, growing an amazing vegetable garden, cooking for family and friends (always enough for those popping in for a visit), baking delicious German pastries and pies; while always making time for family, especially grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all.
A Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 6 – 8 pm at Assman’s Funeral Chapel. Her Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, May 22, 2026 at noon at Lakewood Alliance Church, 4001 5th Avenue, Prince George.
