June 1, 1953 – May 28, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Roy Richard Huebschwerlen on May 28, 2025, at the age of 71.
Roy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He married the love of his life, Linda, at just 16 years old, and together they shared 55 remarkable years. He was immensely proud of their six children, as well as his 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A lifelong truck driver and loyal Kenworth man, Roy hit the road hard He was known for his strong work ethic, fierce loyalty, and unmistakable presence. Whether behind the wheel of a big rig or riding his Harley with friends, Roy lived life with pride, grit, and heart.
He had a bold spirit, a great laugh, and a natural way of making people feel cared for. He believed in hard work and often said his children’s strong work ethic was a source of great pride for him.
Roy will be remembered for his strength, his love for his family, and the roads he traveled—both in life and on the highway. His legacy lives on in those who loved him and the stories that will be told for years to come.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Taylor Hall in Taylor, BC on August 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM. All who knew and loved Roy are welcome.
