She was born on July 18th 1985, to Jim and Shirley Lackey in Oshawa, Ont.
A kind and loving soul, Sam made friends easily with her willingness to help and boisterous nature.
An avid outdoorswoman, she enjoyed fishing trips, ATV treks into the mountains, and regular evenings beside a bonfire.
Sam is survived by her siblings Joshua Lackey (Lori), Melissa Oake (Cliff), and Isaac Lackey (Meghan), as well as her beloved nieces and nephews, Megan, Taylor, Morgan, Ryan, Ewan, Theda, Frank, and great-niece Carter.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Thomas Lackey and Shirley Ann Lackey (nee Horsfield).
A Celebration of Life will be held in Ft. St. John on June 15th @ as well as an interment service in Dundonald, Ont., in September date TBA.
