Sandra Joan Richardson

Sandy was born on August 20, 1946, in Knowlton Quebec to her parents John Hamilton and Irene Lessard. Quebec remained her home until her early twenties when she moved to Prince George, where she settled and raised her two children.

She would eventually meet her soul mate, Jerry, in 1976 and together with his two children they completed their blended family of six.

Sandy worked for BC Tel and later Shoppers Wholesale Foods until her retirement in 2014.

It was the simple things she cherished the most: Saturday nights at The Keg, Sunday family dinners, and spending as much time as possible at their beloved cabin on Fraser Lake. The yearly September long-weekend camping trips with their life-long friends were always a must as well.

Sandra is survived by her children Calvin (Jen), Lisa (Richard), Dean (Natalie), and Roxanne (Robert); her grandchildren Brennan (Sydney), Tavis (Leah), Daunte, Mataya, MaKenna, Sarah, Linden, Rhianna, Andrew, Emma as well as great-grandchildren Hudson & Ethan.

To our dear Mom: Although dementia is cruel, we will forever be grateful that you never lost knowing who we were before you passed. We feel truly blessed to have had the best mother ever.

We take comfort in knowing your spirit will live on in the laughter, traditions and the love you instilled in us. We will miss you always and carry you in our hearts forever.
