Theresa Marie Peters

Theresa Marie Peters, known affectionately as Terry, peacefully departed from this earthly realm on August 23, 2023 at the age of 63 in Prince George, BC. She was born on July 3, 1960 in the town of Macklin, Saskatchewan to her beloved parents Otto and Hilda Gartner.

Theresa's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and unwavering devotion. She was a devoted wife to her husband Art Peters, a loving mother to her children Jeff (Sheri) Peters, Jason Peters, and Shauna (James) Kirouac. Her role as a grandmother brought her immense joy as she adored her grandchildren Owen, Casandra, Kersten, Annie, Lisa, Kaitlyn, Tristan and her great-grandchildren she had yet to meet.

Theresa's family was the cornerstone of her existence. She was predeceased by her dear parents Otto and Hilda Gartner and her siblings Francis, Joseph, Elaine, Paul, Tim, Ernie, and Mary Ann. Their memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who loved them.

Left to honor her memory are her dear siblings Mike (Sheila) Gartner, Jacquie (Charlie) Goertzen, and Andy (Vicki) Gartner. Theresa's legacy extends beyond her immediate family as she leaves behind a wide network of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends all of whom were touched by her kindness and warm-hearted nature.

Theresa's life was defined by her unwavering love for her family, her gentle spirit, and her genuine care for others. Her presence brought comfort and joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered for her nurturing nature, her infectious smile, and her ability to make everyone feel loved and valued.

To honor Terry's wishes, a traditional memorial service will not be held. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by her are invited to join in paying their respects during an online memorial, yet to be scheduled.
