William Daniel Dobson

William 'Bill' Daniel Dobson, 66, of Willow River, BC, passed away suddenly on January 4th, 2024. Bill was born on October 6th, 1957 to Fred and Hazel Dobson in Salmon Arm, BC.

He was preceded in death by his loving partner Juanita 'Gypsy' Carr; son Lloyd Dobson; sister Judy Arnold; brothers Gerald and Donald Dobson.

Bill is survived by his daughters Cheyenene Dobson-Lague (Robert), Chantelle Dobson-Redman (Brendan), Kelsey Deveney (Riley) and his son Joseph Dobson (Tasha). He also leaves behind his bonus children Margaret, Chris, Dennis, and Ray Carr--who held a special place in his heart.

Bill dedicated a portion of his life to military service, proudly serving in Lahr, Germany. After his military service, He pursued a career as an insulator and an equipment operator--demonstrating his strong work ethic until his retirement.

Outside of work, Bill found solace in the outdoors. He had a deep appreciation for nature and loved spending his time hunting and fishing. The tranquility and beauty of the wild provided him with a sense of peace and fulfillment. Bill also had a soft spot for the feel of a small town, finding comfort in its close-knit community and genuine connections.

Although Bill was a simple man, he possessed a profound love for his children. While he may not have taken an active role in most of his children's lives, his love for them was unwavering. His children were always in his thoughts and he cherished every moment spent with them.

William 'Bill' Dobson will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memories will forever be etched in our hearts. May he rest in eternal peace.

Date for the spreading of the ashes will be announced at a later date.
