Edward Henry "Ed" Meadows

Edward Meadows, 83, of Princeton, WV, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at his residence. Edward was born April 6, 1927, at Willowton. He was the son of the late Emerson Jordon Meadows and Eula Meadows.

Edward was a member of Johnston Chapel Baptist Church and was retired from Celanese Plant after 42 years. He was also a veteran of the US Navy.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Price Meadows; sisters, Yantis Burma Stinson, Alma Helen Hill, Kathleen Muriel Johnson, Agnes Gertrude Stinson; brothers, E. J. Meadows Jr., Byron Shephard Meadows, and Harry Guy Meadows.

In addition to his parents, Edward will be sadly missed by his wife of 28 years, Eva Meadows; daughter Carol Moulder and husband David of Princeton, step-daughter, Lesa Bailey and husband Tom of Charleston WV; six grandchildren Stephanie Bailey and husband Joe, Terry Moulder and wife Karen, Michael Moulder and wife Donna, Scott Moulder and wife Missy, Tanner Bailey, Taylor Bailey; great grandchildren, Amy Cooper and husband Kevin, Brittany Bailey, Mark and Cayley Moulder, Jennifer Bowling and husband Jimmy, Amber Moulder, Amanda, and Molly Moulder; great great grandchildren Sarah and Ethan Cooper, Jimmy and Jessie Bowling; brother-in-law, Ed Faulkner and wife Carol, Grady Faulkner and wife Melva; sister-in-law, Libby Worrell and husband Bob, Heneritta White and husband Joe; brother-in-law, Robert Morris.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Simmons, Pastor John King, and Reverend Michael Moulder officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 14, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Terry, Michael and Scott Moulder, Joey and Tom Bailey and Mark Moulder.
