

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Cesarina (Silvestri) Ceprano and had been the husband of the late Gertrude “Trudy” (Masterson) Ceprano.
Mr. Ceprano worked at Superior Glass for 45 years before retiring and was the former President of the Glazier Union. He was an usher and communicant of St. Anthony Church, member of the North Providence Lion’s Club, DAV and VFW Lymansville Post. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He was the father of Alan Ceprano and his wife, Marilyn (Masso) Ceprano and her daughter, Jayma Coghlin; sister of Tina Ceprano, Rose DelMatto and her husband, Corrado and the late Angelo and Antonio “Tony” Ceprano; brother-in-law of Edith and Gloria Ceprano. He also leaves 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 5 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.
Visitation will be held Sunday, 2-5 p.m. with a funeral on Monday at 9 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by burial with Military Honors in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
