Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Contilia (Pontarelli) Mancini and had been the wife of the late Anthony Buonaiuto.
Anna was an avid New York Yankees fan, enjoyed playing cards with her grandchildren and enjoyed her pets, Pio and Negrita.
She was the beloved mother of Louis A. Buonaiuto and his wife, Arlene and Jo-Ann O’Kleasky and her husband, Walter; grandmother of 6; great-grandmother of 3; sister of John Mancini, Livia Forte, Pasqualina Charbonneau and the late Lisa Amaral and Petrina Chiaverini.
Visiting hours and funeral will be held Thursday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
