Anna (Cardon) Novick , 96, a resident of North Dartmouth and New Bedford for most of her life, died Saturday, January 7, 2012. She was the wife of the late Arthur Novick. Born in Logan, Utah, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Verde (Pratt) Cardon. Anna was a registered nurse who practiced in Los Angeles, CA and went on to become a Lieutenant Army Nurse in England and France during WWII. Anna also co-owned with her late husband Novick Jewelers in New Bedford before retiring in 1981. She is survived by her children A. Stephen Novick of Newark, DE, Carolyn N. Gillespie of Orange, CT, and Gayle N. Kiefer of Westport, MA; her sister Marie Hendricks of San Louis Obispo, CA; her 7 grandchildren; her 4 great-grandsons; and her sister-in-law Florence Novick of New Bedford, MA. Her funeral services were private.
