Anthony Brian Jones

Anthony B. Jones “Bonesy” 53, of Providence, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 27, 2015 at his home. Born in Providence, he was a son of Mary C. Jones and the late Marcel Trisvan. He served his country proudly with the United States Army during the Persian Gulf War. Anthony loved listening to old school music, singing and to draw. He enjoyed movies, especially westerns and war sagas. He was a skilled marksman, as well as, an avid reader and chess player. Besides his mother, he leaves his brothers, Aaron Jones, Marcel Trisvan Jr. and Marcus Walker; sisters, Althea Graves, Anita and Angela Jones, Roxanne Lucas, Yvonne Saab, and Jackie Smith; aunts, Bessie Jones and Evelyn Peoples; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Anthony’s family on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. A funeral service will begin at 6:00pm, in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 9:00 am, in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
