Bethany Rose Cyr

WarwickBethany Rose Cyr, 16, of Clinton Avenue, died Saturday at Hasbro Childrens Hospital. Born in Warwick, a daughter of Sharon M. (Verria) Cyr of Warwick, and the late Thomas G. Cyr, she was a lifelong resident of Warwick. Bethany was a member of the Junior Class of 2009 at Toll Gate High School, Warwick, where she was a member of the Varsity Fast Pitch Softball Team and the Indoor Track Team. She was also a member of the Appanoug Girls Softball League for the past thirteen years. She was a communicant of Saint Clement Church, and played for the parish Catholic Athletic League Basketball Team. Beside her mother, she leaves three sisters, Emily J. Cyr, Melissa A. Cyr, and Kimberly E. Cyr, all of Warwick; her maternal grandparents, Frank and Eunice (Hart) Verria, her paternal grandmother, Jane (Stuckey) Cyr and the late Paul Cyr, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and her boyfriend, Daniel Maia, of Warwick. The funeral will be held Friday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt.117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours Thursday, 4 - 8 pm.
