

Carmino owned and operated the Warwick Musical Instrument Co. and the Warwick School of Music for over 50 years. He also performed with the Big Bands; Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey and Tommy Reynolds. He served in WW II in the Army Air Corp Band. Most notably, he enjoyed playing the trumpet alongside both his brothers, Julio and Arthur.
He was father of John R. Tancredi and his wife Valerie; grandfather of John, Jr. and Amanda Marie and brother of Teresa Patalano and the late Ann Mari and Julio and Arthur Tancredi.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Bartholomew’s Church, 305 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial with Military Honors to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITATION FRIDAY 5-8 PM.
