Charles T. Hayes, 63, of Providence, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2014 at Roger Williams Medical Center.Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Virginia (McKenna) Hayes.He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.Charles leaves a son, Matthew Hayes, a daughter, Colleen Hayes Moore, a brother, Thomas Hayes and a sister, Janice Tormey.Charles was a bus driver for the Rhode Island Public Transportation Authority for 32 years before retiring.Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 4-7 pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence.
