

Charlie H. Montes, AKA, “Uneek_401” and “The Fresh Prince of Providence”, 36, of Central Falls, passed away on February 24, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital after a long illness. He was the beloved son of Jesus I. Montes and Rosario (Ramirez) Juarez.
Charlie was a graduate of Lincoln Educational Service, recieving a degree in Computer Networking and Security. He was employed as a Dispatcher and Computer Technician for AAA of Southern new England.
Charlie was passionate about his large collection of Jordan Sneakers, and hats and the LA Lakers, but was most proud of his daughter.
Charlie was a very smart man, who never used his illness as an excuse not to achieve his goals. He was a caring, respectful, and lovable man.
He spent a large part of his life on the 4th floor of Rhode Island Hospital, where all the staff and doctors loved him.
Charlie also loved to help teenagers in the City Year program, by setting an example on how to acheive your dreams. He never let his limitations hold him back.
Besides his parents, Charlie is survived by a daughter, Daisy Montes, a brother, Roberto Montes, his sister, Diana Ramirez, his stepmother, Cony Montes, and his step sisters, Ruth Guevara and Claudia Guevara, his best friend, who was always there for Charlie when he had a health crisis.
. He was predeceased by his sister, Ruth Janet Montes.
Visitation Friday, beginning at 9am with a funeral home service to follow at 11:30 am, in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St. Providence. Charlie will be laid to rest in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
