

Clem, as everyone called him, was born in Providence, RI, on August 9, 1935. He was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Affinito) Santangelo and stepson of the late Louise (Gentile) Santangelo.
Clem served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He spent many years working at Brown and Sharpe Manufacturing, Providence and with BIF Industries, from where he retired.
He was a very patient and kind man who loved the Lord immensely. He wanted everyone to know Him as he did. He also enjoyed many hobbies, including cars and specialty watches, and tinkering with electronics to name a few. For the past 5 months, he was living at Greenwich Farms at Warwick Assisted Living where he made many friends and was very happy.
Clem is survived by his sisters, Anna Adamo (Carmino) and Ruby Dietel (Carl). He is pre-deceased by his brothers, Joseph and John Santangelo and sister Frances (Santangelo) Paiva. He was loved by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
His visitation and funeral will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston.
