Dante E. “Mills” Mancini, 93, beloved grandfather (“Papa”) of Laura and Carla Mancini and their husbands Jake Shuffler and Michael Busby, passed away December 24, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Norma Jean (Blanchard) Mancini and the late Helen (Gatta) Mancini; father of David Mancini and his wife Beth; brother of the late Angelina Landi, Helen Salvati, Frank, William and Albert Mancini; son of the late Domenico and Alfonsina (Trapassi) Mancini. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, 9-10 a.m. followed by his funeral service at 10 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
