David N. Thatcher, Jr

Coventry David Norman Thatcher, Jr., 41, died Monday at Kent Hospital. He was a beloved son of David N. Sr. and Roseann M. (Barry) Thatcher.He is survived by his paternal grandmother, Carolyn M. (Mitchell) Thatcher and her late husband Norman R. Thatcher, of Warwick, RI, and his late maternal grandparents, Lawrence A. and Janet Y. (Smith) Barry. He also leaves behind his brother's, Christopher M. and Eric J. Thatcher, of Coventry, RI and a sister, Amy R. (Thatcher) and her husband, Rui Macatrao, of Cumberland, RI. David is also survived by his three beautiful nieces, Kayla A. and Cassidy R. Thatcher, and Emmalee Rose Macatrao whom he adored and loved very much. David will also be missed very much by the family dog, Brutus who always greeted him with lots of love and kisses.The funeral will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 9:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, in SS John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours, Thursday 4-7pm.
