Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Robert and Claire (Desjarlais) Hynes.
He was a systems engineer for State Street Global Advisors many years before retiring.
Dennis was a car enthusiast. He would be at various car shows happy to discuss his own vehicles or learn about others. He had a loving and kind heart, always ready to assist anyone in need.
He was the loving brother of Deborah Parrillo and brother-in-law of Michael J. Lapolla and his wife Ann, Daniel S. Lapolla and his wife Mary Ann and Alice Madden and her husband Kenneth. He was also the uncle to many nieces and nephews.
His funeral services will be private.
