Dennis was a welder for Electric Boat and later General Cable before retiring. He was also an Army Veteran.
He was the father of Tammy Miccoli and Timothy, Todd and Dennis J. Smith; grandfather of Franco, Nicholas, Devin, Briana, Jiana and Megan and great grandfather of Isabella; brother of Rosemary, June, Ed, Bobby, Woody, Joe, Donny and the late James, Betty, Barbara and Ann; uncle to several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, with a service in the funeral home at 10:00 am. Burial with Military Honors to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITATION SUNDAY 4 – 7 PM. Please omit flowers. www.romanofuneralhome.com.
