Diogenes Alexis Rodriguez

Born in New York, New York, he was the beloved son of Diogenes Rodriguez and Lidia Guzman.

Diogenes lived life with a sense of adventure and an appreciation for the simple joys around him. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it was relaxing at the park or taking in the beauty of the beach. He found happiness in playing pool and was a devoted fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, proudly cheering on his team through every season.

Above all, Diogenes cherished his family. He was the loving partner of Maria Quinones and a devoted father to his eight children. He was also a dear brother to his two siblings and a proud grandfather. His presence, laughter, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 4:00–7:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 9:00–10:00 AM in the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
