Domenic Grande

Domenic Grande, 92, passed away March 24, 2015.. Husband of Claire A. (Merlino) Grande; son of the late William and Carmela (Pontarelli) Grande; step-father of Vincent Macari and his wife Carol, and Robin Quinn and her husband Wayne; papa of Ashley and Christopher Macari; brother of John Grande, Mary Autieri and Evelyn Ferraro; uncle of Bobby, Anthony and Michael Autieri, John and Steve Ferraro, and Billy Grande. He was also the brother of the late Michael Grande.

Domenic was the president and operator of Eastern Cabinet Works, a member of the Carpenters Union Local 351, past president of the RI Chapter of the U.C.T and past Grand Marshall of the U.C.T, where he was an active member for over 50 years. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and making homemade wine.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meeting Street School, 1000 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02905.
