Donna L. Faria

Portsmouth Donna L. (King) Faria, 57, of Second Street, died Thursday at the Miriam Hospital. She was the loving wife of Richard T. Faria for the past 14 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Donald F. and Gail H. (Cunningham) King. Donna worked as a bookkeeper for City Hall Electric Supply and also managed correspondence and appeals claims for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island for 10 years before retiring in 2003. Donna's greatest prides in life were her girls and her grandsons. Her happiest times in life were spending time as a family or gathering for the holidays, especially Christmas.Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Michelle N. King - Green and her husband Alfred, and Jessica L. David, three brothers, Kevin F., Donald E., and Timothy J. King, a sister, Patricia M. King, and two grandsons, Alfred and Trevor. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:30 pm followed by a service beginning at 6:30 pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, RI 02908.
