

East Greenwich- Donahue, Dorothy M. (Watt),100, formerly of Pojac Point Road, North Kingstown, died Tuesday at Scalabrini Villa. She was the wife of the late Dr. John J. Donahue.Born in Medford, MA., she was the daughter of the late Thomas D. and Rose A. (Kelley) Watt. She had previously resided in Pawtucket and Cranston.Dorothy was a registered nurse in the Pawtucket School Department. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in 1929 and was a member of its Alumni Association. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella.Dorothy was a devoted and loving wife and a beloved role model to her family and friends.She is survived by her children, Martha M. Donahue of East Greenwich, with whom she lived, Mary E. Murphy of Warwick, Paul J. Donahue of Coventry and Peter J. Donahue of Barrington, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8:30am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville, Rd, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am in Our Lady of Mercy Church, Fourth Ave, East Greenwich. Burial will be in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours, Thursday, 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Lighthouse Foundation, C/O Beacon Hospice, 6946 Post Rd, North Kingstown, RI 02852, in her memory would be appreciated.
