Edmund W. Stabile, 94, passed away on August 31, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie (Cuddemi) Stabile, to whom he was happily married for many years.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carl and Phyllis (Ruggieri) Stabile. Edmund served in the Air Force before graduating from URI as an Electrical Engineer. He was a Salesman with the Fisher & Porter Company for many years before his lengthy and fulfilling retirement. He was also a former President of the Cranston Senior Advisory Board and was awarded Cranston Senior Citizen of the year.
Edmund was the devoted father of Carl E. Stabile, an adored brother of Albert, Kathleen and Janice Stabile.
His Visitation will be held on Thursday September 4, 2025, from 9:00-10:30 am at the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Ave, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
