Edward R. Baribault

Pascoag: BARIBAULT, EDWARD R., Age 61, of Park Place, passed away after a courageous year long battle with cancer on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence, RI Born in Providence, one of ten children born to the late Albert and Dorothy (Creamer) Baribault.Eddy was a 30 year employee of Getchell & Son in N. Smithfield as a Sheetmetal Mechanic prior to his illness and was a Decorated Vietnam War Veteran.He is survived by his siblings Albert Baribault (Patt) and Shirley Harnois (Armand) of Florida, Barbara Lancellotta (Giulio) of Smithfield, Janet Collins of Providence, Richard Baribault of W. Warwick and Diane Tucker (Jay) of North Kingstown.He was the brother of the late William Baribault, Donald Baribault and Patricia Fontaine.He is also survived by his children, Kerri Sharron of Massachusetts, Edward Baribault, Jr of New Hampshire, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 11th, from 4-8 PM in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 12, at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Academy Avenue, Providence at 10AM. Burial service with military honors will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter on Wednesday, July 14th @ 9:30AM.
