OBITUARY

Edward Bradford Clark IV

26 January, 1966 – 29 May, 2025
IN THE CARE OF

Romano Funeral Home

Edward Bradford Clark, IV, age 59, of Pawtucket, RI, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025 unexpectedly at home.

Born in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Edward B. Clark, Jr. and Irene S. (Maliborski) Clark of Pawtucket, and brother to the late Irena F. Clark of Norwood, MA.

Ed was a 1984 graduate of William M. Davies, Jr. Career & Technical High School and New England Technical Institute 1985. He was employed as a certified HVAC technician for most of his life and was member of the Coventry, West Greenwich and Westerly Elks Clubs, the Moose General Assembly IL Lodge, and Bradford Citizens Club.

Ed enjoyed going to concerts and local live music events, traveling, boating, fishing, clamming, and lobstering. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and belonged to several motorcycle clubs.

Known for his dry sense of humor, Ed was a big guy, with a tough exterior and soft heart. He lived simply and most loved being around people. Attending social gatherings and cooking big meals for family and friends made him extremely happy. He never showed up to a gathering empty handed and day or night was always willing to help a friend, neighbor, or family member in need. He will be best remembered by those who knew him for his giving heart and fun-loving personality.

Ed leaves behind one sister, Laura A. Clark of Westerly, RI, several aunts, uncles, many cousins and a multitude of friends.

Following his cremation, a farewell wake for family and friends will take place at Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, RI on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 4 pm – 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pawtucket Animal Shelter. At his request, Ed’s ashes will be scattered in the ocean at his favorite place, Quonochontaug Breachway in Charlestown, RI, in a private ceremony held by his family.
