Edward M. McLaughlin

Warwick: McLaughlin, Edward M., 82, formerly of Sargent St., passed away on Saturday at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre in Cranston. He was the husband of the late Lorraine M.(Gentes) McLaughlin. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Henry J. and Serena (Almon) McLaughlin. Edward was a lineman for Narragansett Electric Company for 40 years. He is survived by his children, Michael E. McLaughlin, Robert J. McLaughlin, Janet M. Catelli of Warwick and John M. McLaughlin of South Kingstown, 3 sisters, Elizabeth Mari of Cranston, Agatha Carey of Providence and Theresa Casey of South Kingstown, 5 grandchildren and a great grandson. He was the brother of the late Henry J. McLaughlin, Jr., Joseph McLaughlin, James McLaughlin, Jane Loughlin, Serena Conley, Mary Keune and Anna Woulfe. Funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:30 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in St. William Church, Pettaconsett Ave, Warwick. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. Visiting hours, Wednesday 4-7 pm.
